Citronella ant swarms arrive in the late winter and spring. They can be a nuisance when the winged ants leave the colony for mating flight. Citronella Ants are often mistaken for termites.
Bees
There are many different stinging insect species that are considered pests. Some of the most common are wasps, hornets (a type of wasp), and yellowjackets (another type of wasp). Carpenter Bees
These large, robust insects look like bumblebees but won’t normally sting. They bore holes into wood to create galleries in which to raise their young; the female can excavate one inch of wood in six days. They often attack sills, wooden siding, eaves, railing, outdoor furniture and fences. Signs of infestation include sawdust and clean round holes.

Rodents
Some rodents may seem cute, but they can be a severe health hazard inside your home or business. Most rodents carry a variety of diseases and should be removed from your property immediately.
Mice
Mice have hairless tails and are dark grey. They enter homes through holes as small as a dime and contaminate human food with droppings, urine, and hair. Mice also carry diseases and parasites.
Rats
Rats are brown or grey and have hairless ears. The Norway rat is the largest and most common. Rats chew on many objects like wires, which cause fires. They carry fleas and have spread disease to people and animals. Urine and droppings contaminate food.

Fleas

Earwigs
The reddish- brown insects have an offensive odor and curved rear pincers. They’re found in lawns and occasionally inside. They eat flowers, vegetables and fruit.
Spiders
Most spiders are not highly poisonous and like warm, dark places. In homes, they frequent wall cracks, corners, air vents, and the area beneath shingles and eaves.
Ground Beetles
Ground beetles feed on decaying organic matter and are often confused with the Oriental roach.
Millipedes
Millipedes spend most of their early lives underground. Without control, they emerge in large numbers to feed on vegetation.
Centipedes
Centipedes are long, flat, many segmented animals. They like moist places like basements, closets, and bathrooms. Their bite is seldom more painful than a bee sting.
Crickets
The straw- colored house cricket has long, slender antennae. It can live indefinitely in homes, laying its eggs in cracks, and crevices, and other dark areas.
Silverfish
The wingless, fast, slender silverfish has long antennae, shiny scales, and three tails like cerci.
Bird Mites
This parasite attacks domestic and wild birds and is frequently found in nests. Bird mites will attack people, causing tremendous itching. They should be addressed immediately
Clover Mites
The clover mite is bright red and migrates onto and into homes in the spring.
